2011 NCGC Local Qualifier Report:
University of Kansas
KU Golf Club hosted its second annual local qualifier for the NCGC LQ at Alvamar Country Club on their private course.
Most university students only play the public side, but the private course was much more tight, with narrow fairways and small, fast greens.
Our winners, John Humphries and Aaron Murow, shot a 71 (one-under par).
Also in their group, Nick Defrancesco and Chance Clark, shot one-over par to place second. We are excited to send John Humphries and Aaron Murow to the National Championship in Las Vegas.
